Martha Jo Hill-age 73 of Washburn passed away Saturday evening, July 17, 2021 at Willow Ridge Center after a lengthy illness. She attended Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father, Emerson Starnes; grandparents, Clayton and Rosie Bailey.

Survived by husband of 44 years, Walter Rhea Hill of Washburn; mother, Goldie Starnes of Washburn; children, April (Jason) Warren of Knoxville; David (Becky) Hill of Washburn; Shannon (Keith) Taylor of Georgia. Eight grandchildren, Craig, Daniel, Bradley, Joshua, Sarah, Macy, Sean and Seth. Six great-grandchildren, Rilee, Spencer, Mason, Eden, Rainn and Hanna. The family would like to thank the staff of Willow Ridge Center for their care.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m., Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley, Rev. Travis Proffitt officiating with music by Linda Nicley and The Valley Boys. Interment 12 Noon Wednesday, Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Craig Warren, Daniel Warren, Bradley Warren, Joshua Warren, Greg Hurst, Justin Hurst. Honorary Pallbearers: Nathan Felosi, Martin Nicley, Ronnie Munsey, Terry Bell.
