Margie Leonard-age 96 of Corryton passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, surrounded by her family at home. She was saved at a young age, was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and last attended regularly, Luttrell Missionary Baptist Church. Margie was proceeded in death by her husband of 62 years, Theodore Leonard, Sr.; son, William H. (Bill) Leonard; grandson, Teddy Leonard; sisters, Juanita Kitts, Louise Muncey, Opal Adams, Ruby Deprow; grandson-in-law, Chris Phillips; daughter-in-law, Mildred Leonard.

Margie was dearly loved and survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Linda Leonard; daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and David Campbell; grandchildren, Stacy Phillips, Casey (Tommy) Hunter, LeAnn (Mark) Sawyer, Matthew (Shelly) Leonard, Willie (Amy) Leonard, Chris (April) Campbell; great grandchildren, Matthew (Emma) Lamb, Ashton (Cameron) Gudger, Abby (Micah) Hayes, Alexis Lamb, Madison, Jordan and Hailey Hunter, Ethan and Emily Sawyer, Macy and Mason Leonard, Madden and Alexa Phillips; special niece, Patsy Wynn; Margie loved her “little man”, great, great grandson, Ayden Lamb and was looking forward to the birth of her great, great granddaughter, Ava Jade Lamb.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Funeral service 2 PM Thursday, January 30, 2025, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Matthew Leonard, Rev. Steven Branscomb officiating, music by Mark Sawyer, burial to follow at George H. Savage Family Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Matthew Lamb, Ethan Sawyer, Mason Leonard, Jordan Hunter, Cameron Gudger, Micah Hayes. Honorary pallbearers: Roger Wynn, Tommy Hunter, Ayden Lamb.
