Malcolm Edward Wolfenbarger – age 61 of Washburn, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home. He was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church, Knoxville. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Mack and Dot Grigsby, Lawrence and Irene Wolfenbarger, Melvin Green.

Survived by his wife of 14 years, Rhonda C. Wolfenbarger of Washburn; daughter, Shauntay Watson; grandchildren, Malachi Watson, Mahayla Watson; step-son, Doug Hedge, all of Knoxville; parents, Rev. Doyle and Ruby Wolfenbarger of Corryton, Patricia Green of Washburn; brothers and sisters, Wesley Wolfenbarger and wife Regina of Corryton, Scott Green and wife Carrie of West Point, Iowa, Melissa Shoemaker and husband Troy of Knoxville, D.J. Wolfenbarger and wife Melinda of Corryton; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2024 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev Greg Sharp officiating, music by Brian and Lisa Sexton. Interment will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Coffman Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers; Scott Green, Troy Shoemaker, John Hedge, Jesse Hedge, Doug Hedge, D.J. Wolfenbarger. Honorary pallbearer, Wes Wolfenbarger. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM on Saturday August 3, 2024. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
