Loretta Dale (Perry) Holloway, known to everyone as “Nanny”-age 90 of Maynardville passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Claiborne Medical Center. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for over 65 years. Nanny loved her God Jehovah, family, red birds, playing the guitar at picnics, flatfoot dancing, butterfingers, roses and black coffee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Martha Perry; husband, Clifford Holloway; sons, Andy Holloway, Kennith Holloway; sisters, Aileen, Leah, Armeda, Sara, Kay; brothers, Verlin, Charlie, Jesse, Tyson, Andy, Carl, Robert, Wannie, John, Paul, Frank.

She is survived by her son, Chuck Holloway and wife Lisa; daughters, Deborah White, Connie Smith; sister, Della Mae Wenger; grandchildren, Wendy and Mark Wood, Travis Holloway, Kermie Holloway and Whitney Arnwine, Sheena White, Carla White, Candace Smith, Gabby and Caleb Griffin, Layla Smith and Joseph Hickman; great grandchildren, Hunter Holloway, Creedence Wood, Navada Tipton, Avonlea Washam, Parker Holloway, Kenna Smith, Morrison Smith Hickman, Harlow White; close and dear friend, Evelyn Black; caregiver, Layla Smith.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM Tuesday, Brother Therrell Griffin officiating. Interment 1 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Perry Family Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Chuck Holloway, Kermie Holloway, Hunter Holloway, Parker Holloway, Creedence Wood, Caleb Griffin. Honorary pallbearers: Mark Wood, Verlin Perry, Jr., Sonny Hardman, Dale Perry. Family and friends will meet 12 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the funeral home to go with the funeral procession.
