Lisa Gilbert-age 59 of Sharps Chapel, the best mom in the world, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 11, 2024, at North Knoxville Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy “Thumby” and Willie (White) Brantley; brothers, Troy and Claudia (Rowe) Brantley, Willis “Buzz” and Susie (Chumley) Brantley, David and Carolyn (Chumley) Brantley, Norman Brantley, Charlie Brantley, Arnold Brantley, Darrell Brantley all of Sharps Chapel.

She is survived by husband, Tony Gilbert; ex-husband, Ricky Smith; children, Tammy Kittel, Sheena and BJ Nicley, Jeffrey Smith and Kim Jones, Danielle and Thomas Dockery, Hannah Mashburn; lifelong friends, Donna Bell, Tammy Heath, Glenda Brantley; grandchildren, Caleb Dyer and Emilee Lawson, Haven Dyer and Justin Suddath, Nevah Dyer and Hunter Johnson, Kearra Nicley and Jaydon Grammar, Ethan Nicley, Sidney Smtih, Miya Gilbert, Molly Mashburn, Olivia Dockery, Maddie Locktich, Lilly Dockery; great grandchildren, Harper Johnson, Ivee Dyer, Wesley Suddath, Baby Dyer #2.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, with the funeral service to follow 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Joe Nicley and Rev. Harry Gent officiating. Music by Kearra and Alexis. Interment 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Thursday at the cemetery. Pallbearers: Rick Smith, Ethan Nicley, BJ Nicley, Cody Mashburn, Thomas Dockery, Caleb Dyer.
