Linda Sue Valentine

Linda Sue (Beeler) Valentine-age 77 of Knoxville passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home. She was a loving christian mother and loved to sing gospel music. She was a feisty grandmother of three and great grandmother of three. Preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Daryl Wayne Valentine; parents, Wilbert and Retha (Wolfenbarger) Beeler; brother, Fernley “Cotton” Beeler; former husband of 33 years and father of her children, Rev. Charles Oliver.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Brent) Allen, Rhonda (Greg) Pratt; 3 grandchildren, Brooke Venkatraman and husband, Sai, CJ James, Abby Carpenter; 3 great-grandchildren, Everleigh James, Ryleigh Newsome, Declan Pratt; brother, Howard Beeler; sister, Fern Coffman; special niece, Dolores Coffman; special friend and caregiver, Jordan Bailey. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to express a special appreciation and thank you to the staff of Ben Atchley State Veterans Home for their loving care of Linda for the past 6 years.
Linda may be viewed and the register book signed Friday afternoon, March 7, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Graveside service 10 AM Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, Rev. Gary Beeler officiating with music by Rev. Jerry and Carolyn Epperson. Please meet at the cemetery at 9:45 AM Tuesday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
