Linda R. McCoy of Maynardville passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at her home. She was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Johnny and Ruth Raley; sisters, Margaret Raley and Opal Cooper; brother, John Raley.

Survivors: husband of 62 years, Rev. Joe McCoy; children, Jennifer (Gary) Collins; Billy Joe McCoy, Jr.; Sonya (Jack) Fine and Debbie McCoy. Grandchildren, Hope McNabb, Nicholas Collins, Lela Fine, Rev. Gus Fine, P.F.C. Brandon Fine (U.S. Marine Corps), Cody Fine. Brother James Raley and wife, Diane.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev, Greg Sharp officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Sunday, New Loyston Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Sunday to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Gary Collins, Jack Fine, Richard Cooper, James Raley, Rev. Gus Fine, Cody Fine. Honorary Pallbearers: Nicholas Collins and P.F.C. Brandon Fine.
