Leon Roger Ray-age 68 of Maynardville passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Spiritual Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Lizzie Pratt Ray; brother, Leroy Ray; sister, Peggy Hines; nephew, Jamie Bailey.

Survivors: sisters, Brenda Waggoner, Mary Magdalene Bailey; brothers, Bobby, Robert, Levi and David Ray; aunt, Sally Berry, all of Maynardville. A host of cousins and other family members.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, Spiritual Baptist Church, 6746 Boruff Road, Corryton, TN, Rev. Clifford Fraker, Rev. C. W. Fraker officiating with music by Clifford and Dorothy Fraker. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: J. C., Clarence, Troy, Max, Scott, Lynn and Ralph Ray. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
