Laura Jane “Jannie” Long-age 67 of Maynardville, formerly of Knoxville, born January 13, 1954 went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at U. T. Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She was one of the twelve children of the late James and Marie Roberts Caughorn. Preceded in death by five sisters, Thelma Covington, Wanda Wompler, Bonnie Heiskell, Gail Abbott, Judy Gattis; five brothers, Leonard Caughorn, Troy Caughorn, Roy Caughorn, Bruce Caughorn, Herman Lucas Caughorn.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Steve L. Long of Maynardville; her son, Randy Baker and wife, Mindy; grandson, Jeremy Baker; brother, Dail Caughorn of Maynardville. Special friend, Cheryl Humphrey. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Graveside service and interment 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Seven Islands Cemetery, Knoxville with Rev. Norman Smelser officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
