Larry Jackson-age 72 of New Tazewell passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born April 10, 1952, in Holly Hill, South Carolina. Larry loved to be in the mountains, hunting and fishing with his son, spending time with his family and hanging out with his dogs. Larry was a proud member of the Santee Indian Organization. He was a hardworking man and spent his life as an electrician, real estate agent and truck driver. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Percy and Fiorrie Jackson; daughter, Tonya Jackson; brothers, Ronnie Jackson, Bobby Jackson, Evans Jackson; sister, Myrtle Jackson; beloved dog ChyChy.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kimberly Jackson; son, Larry Owen Jackson; brother, Wroten Jackson; sister, Verrelle Jackson; stepdaughters, Christina Byrd, Tamara Lovelien; granddaughters, Brooke Jackson, Kimberly Whisenhunt, Brittany Joplin; grandson, William Whisenhunt.

Larry is now at peace and will be dearly missed by many. Go rest high on that mountain, your work here is done.

There will be a plum tree planted in Holly Hill, South Carolina, along with some of his ashes spread there.
