Larry Eugene Miller

Larry Eugene Miller, age 67 of Halls, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Sacred Ground Hospice House after fighting a battle with cancer. He was born July 2, 1957 in Knoxville, TN to Ralph Miller and Mary Carmichael. He was a Halls High school graduate class of 1975. He worked most of his life, in jobs ranging from Mynatt Brothers to Cooks and Pioneer Pest Control.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; Ralph Miller and Mary Carmichael, and Caitlynn Carmichael.

He is survived by son; Lucas Miller, grandsons; Austin Miller (Chelsey Abbott), Andrew Hatmaker (Haley), Semias Hatmaker (Hailey Maupin), great grandchildren; Malia Hatmaker, Aleena Miller, Daton and Khaden Abbott, sisters; Kathy Owenby (Mike), Nikki Carmichael, Cameron Wyrick, Stetson Wyrick, Cadence Carmichael, brothers; Sean Carmichael (Stephanie), Allen Carmichael (Gina), a slew of nieces, nephews, and cousins and special friend Helicia Huff and family.

Larry knew no stranger and was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to The VOLS. He loved to fish and play cards. The one thing he loved the most was his grandchildren. He was their biggest fan and was at every event they had. His love for them was unconditional. He was so proud of the young men they grew up to be. He was always talking about how proud he was of them.

Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the Fort Sanders ER Nurse Rickey Garner for all you did for Larry and the family in such a trying time, and UT Hospice and Scared Ground Hospice House. We Thank everyone who helped care for Larry

Revelation 21:4 in the Bible says, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away". in the final months of his life.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M., officiated by Rev. Billy Woods. Family and friends will meet at Beaver Creek Covenant Brethren Church Cemetery in Knoxville at 10:45 A.M. on Saturday, October 19, 2024 for a 11:00 A.M. interment. Pallbearers will be Austin Miller, Andrew Hatmaker, Semais Hatmaker, Brad Bell, Sean Carmichael, Lucas Miller. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
