Larry Charles Hefner, Sr.-age 75 of Washburn (Union County) passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at his home. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, H.K. and Geneva (Free) Hefner; father and mother-in-law, William R. and Inez Chesney.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah Sue Hefner; children, Tammy Kay Kitts Miller, Larry Charles Hefner, Jr., Willie Hefner, Terry Charles Hefner; seven grandchildren; brothers, Kent Hefner, Kyle Hefner along with other family members and friends.

No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donation for expenses. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
