Kenneth George Hayes-age 84 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Thursday, October 10, 2024, at his home. He was a member of Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly, Luttrell. Kenneth was retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of serving. He was the owner of Hayes Hollow Apiary. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hayes; parents, George A. and Billie Virginia (Goss) Hayes; sister, JoAnn Human; brother-in-law, Leonard Ray Johnson.

He is survived by his daughters, Laural L. Hayes, Pamela R. Hayes, Deanna L. Dunbar, Jeanette Y. Kaslik, Tina V. Rasnic; son, George (David) Hayes; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and his beloved Chihuahua Frijola.

The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024 with funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly, Luttrell, Rev. Lewis Beeler, Rev. Paul Thomas Hughes, Rev. LeBrandon Marie officiating with music by Mavis Hughes, Dollie Merritt and Jessica Lamb. Military graveside service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers; Khalio White, Matthew Hayes, Travis Hayes, John Clay Kaslik, E. J.
