Kenneth Dale Haynes-age 80 of Maynardville passed away peacefully at his home Monday, June 17, 2024, after suffering an illness. He was a devoted husband, father and wonderful brother and friend to many through the years. He was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fount and Jean Haynes; father and mother-in-law, Rev. Oscar and Jean Johnson; sister, Betty Shumate; sister-in-law, Betty Carmon; brothers-in-law, Steve Johnson, F.T. Munsey, Billy Wayne Munsey, Johnny Corum.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Johnson Haynes; wonderful son, Aaron; sisters, Velma Munsey, Janice Munsey, Jane Roe, Linda Mynatt (David), Shirley Barker (Mark); sisters-in-law, Carol Bull (Ray), Kay Buchanan (Randy). Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who loved him and will miss him.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday, June 21, 2024, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with funeral service to follow at 7 PM, Rev. Robbie West and Rev. Doug Munsey officiating and music by Seth West, Lindsay Painter, Holly Hemphill, Faith Hemphill. Graveside 11 AM Saturday June 22, 2024, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Seth West, Cody Godsey, Donny Munsey, Stanley Campbell, Scott Johnson, Tony Bull.
