Juanita Brewer Woods-age 77 of Maynardville, born and raised in Sharps Chapel, passed away Monday morning, March 10, 2025, at her home. Juanita was saved in her 20’s and joined Hines Creek Church. In 1981 she was one of several founding members of Raccoon Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Her spiritual journey led her to membership at Beulah Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Paris Woods; parents, Boyd and Lurtie Brewer; daughter-in-law, Naomi Woods.
She is survived by her children, Darrell Woods, Randall Woods (Amber), Amanda Hurst (Dan); grandchildren, Haley, Ayden, Rylan Woods, Dillon, Rylee, Daniel, Kristina Hurst; great grandchildren, Grayson and Jade Hatfield, Anna Jean and Lynnsi Bailey, Bethany and Mia Hurst; brothers, Ralph Brewer (Juanita), Steve Brewer; sisters, Kathy Turner, Helen Holloway (Joe), Alma Cooper, Janet Nipper.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, with funeral service to follow at 7 PM Rev. Wade Brantley, Rev. Robin Ryder, Rev. Tim Sharp officiating, and music by Rylan Woods and The Woods Family, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Burial 11 AM Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Hines Creek Church Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Randall Woods, Evan Cooper, Danny Masingo, Dillon Hurst, Dan Hurst, Daniel Hurst, Ayden Woods, Grayson Hatfield. Honorary pallbearer: Darrell Woods.
