Jessie Coy Wilder

Jessie Coy “Little” Wilder, age 79 of Maynardville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on September 13, 1940 and was a son of the late Bratcher and Lavada Kelly Wilder. Little was a member of St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Church in Maynardville and worked as a heavy equipment operator, retiring from the Operating Engineers Local 324 of Michigan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Edward Troy “Big” Wilder, and sister, Janice Green.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Charlene Gennette Wilder, children, Daryle Coy Wilder and wife, Cheryl and Carol Wilder Williams and husband, Tony; grandchildren, Joseph Williams, Maegan Yadon and husband, David, and Stephen Coy Wilder; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Williams, Addie Yadon and Levi Yadon; sisters, Onalee Henderson, Pauline Mays, Norma Hurst and Shirley Edds; brother, Tom Wilder and wife, Sperry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Monday, January 20 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Father Neil Pezzulo. A funeral procession will leave the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel at 10:30 AM on Tuesday for graveside funeral services 11:00 AM at the Edwards Cemetery in Speedwell. Pallbearers will be Randy Wilder, Brian Gilbert, David Yadon, Jaxon Williams and Randy Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Williams, Stephen Wilder and Levi Yadon.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 until 7 PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee.
