Jeffery Claude Kitts-age 60 of Maynardville, born August 14, 1963, went home to be with his Lord, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at home. He was a member of Beneath the Cross Church, Luttrell. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the great outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was loved by all and will be missed by all. He is at peace. Preceded in death by his parents, father, Claude Kitts, mother, Edna Sands Kitts.

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda L. Kitts, Melinda Kitts, Kala Kitts Williams and husband Brandon all of Maynardville; stepson, Cody Phillips; grandsons, Christopher Boyton, Casey Kitts, Bryce Boyton, Justin Tice; granddaughters, Meilyn Tice, Bella Rivera; 3 great grandchildren and one more on the way; brother, Terry W. Kitts, Florida; sisters, Linda S. Kitts, Maynardville, Robin L. Kitts, Florida and several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jeff Leach officiating, music by Carolyn Criswell, Dale, Ronnie and Mary Kitts. Interment 2:00 pm Sunday March 24, 2024, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 1:30 pm Sunday to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Terry Kitts, Chris Kitts, Christopher Boyton, Brandon Williams, Casey Kitts, Cody Phillips.
