Jason Lynn Houston-age 40 of Maynardville, born November 13, 1981 went to be with the Lord Friday, October 21, 2022 at his home with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by father, Timmy Dale Houston; grandparents, James and Eula Gray Houston; Fred Douglas Hackney and his uncle, Anthony Houston.

Survivors: his mother, Shirley Ann Hackney Houston; brother, Gregory dale Houston and Christy; two nephews, Gregory and James (Shelby) Houston, Trish Houston and grandmother, Bessie Hackney. Two aunts, two uncles and a host of cousins along with many friends. Jason loved everyone.

The family will receive 5-7 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Josh Jones officiating with music by Jill Jones and Amanda Hurst. Interment 2 p.m. Tuesday, Greene Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 1 p.m. Tuesday to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Gregory Houston, James Houston, Upel Hall, Cory Blair, Joey Smith, Jeffery Smith, Cody Hackney.
