Jarrett Lynn Knickerbocker of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away at the young age of 26 on Saturday June 3, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Jarett was a resident of Middlesboro Kentucky where he lived at the time of death. Jarrett’s life came to a tragic and unexpected end in a workplace accident in Oneida, Tennessee. Jarrett was born in Adrian, Michigan to JoAnn Jean Wilson and Phil Knickerbocker on July 25, 1997. Jarrett lived with his family in Napoleon, Michigan up until 2006 when he moved with his mother Joann and stepfather James; brother Bryant, and half-sister Shelby of Speedwell, Tennessee. Jarrett attended Powell Valley Elementary for middle school and Cumberland Gap High School until Grade 11. Jarret is preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Jean Wilson; his paternal grandparents Ron and Charlene Knickerbocker.

Jarrett is survived by his girlfriend, Brittany Ayers; his son Jayden Knickerbocker; his maternal grandparents, Jean and Wayne Grodi; his eldest brother, P.J. Knickerbocker; his eldest sister, Lacey Grinnell; his brother Bryant Knickerbocker; his youngest half-sister, Shelby Pittman.

A celebration of life is planned for a later date in Michigan. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
