James “Jim” David Mills-age 46 of Luttrell went home to be with the Lord, Monday, March 18, 2024, at his home. Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Thomas Mills; paternal and maternal grandparents; an uncle and several aunts.

He is survived by his father, David Mills; daughter, Kayla (Dustin) Switzer; son, Isaiah Perry; granddaughters, Khloe and Kenzie Switzer; brothers, Danny (Tonya) Thomas, Jason (Michelle) Mills; sister, Candy (Bobby) Tharp; nephews, Hayden and Easton Mills, Jeremy and Chase Tharp; nieces, Chasity and Kendra Thomas, Megan and Reagan Tharp; special aunt, Peggy Brooks; special uncle, H.C. (Alice) Thomas; special cousin, Tina Wood and several other aunts and uncles and many cousins who James loved dearly.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2024, with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jason Dyer and Rev. Sawyer Blankenship officiating, music by Sawyer and Jason. Interment 1:00 pm Saturday March 23, 2024, at Thomas Family Cemetery, 1144 Hwy 370, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 12:00 p.m. Saturday to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Jason Mills, Hayden Mills, Jeremy Tharp, Josh Wood, Terry Young, Bob-Bob Strader, Wes Muncey, Lynn Carpenter. Honorary Pallbearers: Allen Rush, Bobby Tharp, Chase Tharp.
