James C. "J. C." Dyke

James C. “J. C.” Dyke-age 75 of Sharps Chapel went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Churh. Preceded in death by mother, Vina Dyke; father, Lonnie Dyke; daughter, Dee Dee Dyke Raley; sons, Jimmy Dyke and Jammy Dyke, brother, Clarence Dyke; sister, Karen Hatmaker, grandson, Joey Raley

Survivors: wife of 40 years, Becky Dyke; daughter and son-in-law, LeAnna and Jimmy Munsey; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kristi Brantley; grandchildren, Candy Vickers, Crystal Baker, Jacob Baker, Adam Brantley and fiancée, Carrie Thomas, Avery Brantley, Matthew Dyke, Ashley Widner; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Bray, Alexxus Miller, Hallie Shelton; sister, JoAnn Arms of Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law, Timmy and Clara Dyke of Berea, Kentucky. Several nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 with the funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Joe McCoy officiating with music by The Leatherwood Church Singers. Interment 11 A.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2017, Blue Springs Church Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9:30 A.M. Wednesday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Matthew Dyke, Adam Brantley, Jacob Baker, Ernie Hatmaker, Chris Arms, Jimmy Munsey, Jeff Sharp. Honorary Pallbearers: Max Southern, Wendell Padgett, L. A. Woods, Larry Lay, Harve Jones.
