Jackie Lynn Atkins-age 40 of Luttrell, born November 19, 1980 passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center. His family ws his whole world. He loved to go camping and fishing. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Jack A. Atkins, Sr and J. B. Wyrick; father, Jack A. Atkins, Jr.
He is survived by his grandmother, Shirley Hickle; wife, Stacey Atkins; daughters, Cassey (Chucky) Mell, Selina (Chance) Daugherty, MacKenzie and Rebecca Atkins, Maggie Smith; sons, Jackie (J. J.) Caleb, Bentley and Braxton Atkins. Grandson, Ramey Daugherty; mother, Linda Gail Atkins; sister, Michele (Norman) Stanford; brothers, Marty (Candace) Wyrick. His lifelong friends and brothers, Chris, Jesse, Brandon, Larry (Bones) Hickman and Scottie Atkins.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Kent Clark officiating. Music by Sherry Rutherford, Jim and Nora Goins; Brandon Hickman; Timothy and Jeremiah Ray. Interment 1 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021 Kelly Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet by 12 p.m. Sunday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Chris Hickman, Jesse Hickman, Larry (Bones) Hickman, Brandon Hickman, Scottie Atkins, Timmy Miller. Honorary Pallbearers: Ray Miller, Chucky Mell, Chance Daugherty.
