Jack Sharpe

Jack Sharpe-age 83 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at his home. He was a member of Fellowship Christian Church and was a retired employee of Black and Decker, Knoxville. His life was filled with joy being able to hunt and fish with his grandsons, Zachary and Ryan; he also loved to watch his granddaughter, Olivia practice and play softball. He owned and operated the Black Fox Bait Shop for several years. Preceded in death by wife, Joyce (Gray) Sharpe; daughter, Karen Craig; parents, Issac and Pauline (Bailey) Sharpe; sister, Nell Capps.
Survivors: son, Kenny Sharpe; three grandchildren, Zachary, Ryan and Olivia; six great-grandchildren, Julie, Jackson, Jolene, Jocelyn, Tytus and Aspen. Sisters, Brenda Belk and Margaret Bailey. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the care given Jack by the Suncrest Hospice Staff to include, Taylor, Whitley, Anthony Yvona, Britney and Jodie. Also, to the caregivers who were with him daily; Tammy Collins, Kristie Mount, Angela Hayes, Unis Burnett and Donna Thomas.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Johnny Smith officiating with music by Rev. Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, Monroe Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:15 a.m. Friday to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Will Carroll, Zachary Sharpe, Ryan Sharpe, Leslie Wynn, Garrett Hayes, Tanner Barth. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
