Homer Wesley Effler – 85 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully December 6, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is preceded in death by parents, Frank and Bertha Effler; sons, Michael and Jerry Effler; and grandson, Wesley Effler; two brothers and three sisters. Homer is survived by wife of 64 years, Geneva (Boggs) Effler; daughter, Dreama Effler; son, Tim Effler; bonus children, Lisa and Ron Hendrix; grandchildren, Tonia (Jason) Heiskell, Timothy Effler, Jeremy Helmbolt, Blake Effler, Chase Effler, Brooke Lee, Blair (Tyler) Smith, Joshua Effler and Tiffany Collins; great grandchildren, Jacob Heiskell, Natalie Welch, Madaline Lee, Mackenzie Effler, Isabella Effler, Donavon Beaven and Ava Collins; bonus nephews, Gary (Shirley) Qualls and David (Brenda) Berry. The family would also like to give special thanks to the Jared Graves family and Tina and Mike Cox.

The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Reverend Jim Mulkey officiating. Following the service family and friends will proceed to Effler Cemetery for a graveside service.
