Henry Thomas “Tommy” Buckner, Jr. – age 70 of Corryton passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 3 2024. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked as a truck driver for Express. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Martha Buckner; son, Henry Thomas Buckner, III.

He is survived by his brother, Rev. Keith Buckner and wife Kathy; nephew, Dustin Buckner; great nieces and nephews, Abbie and Annie Buckner; very special friend, Evette Patrick.

Military graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway, Rev. Jack Walker officiating, military honors by Tri-County Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
