Gregory Stacey Atkins-age 62 of Mascot passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his career in mechanics along with motorcycles and fishing. Preceded in death by son, Richard Edward Jarnigan; grandchildren, Jayden and Jacob; parents, Gerald Wayne and Nola Elizabeth (Buckner) Atkins; brothers, Doug Atkins and Marvin Atkins.

He is survived by wife of 30 years, Angie Atkins; son, Gregory Michael Atkins; daughter, Shayla Renee Atkins Kilgore and husband, Kyle; seven grandchildren, Jhon, Hayden, Hunter, Hadley, Jaxon, Nola, Kylie; brother, Tim Atkins; niece, Katrina (Randall) Surrett; nephew, Brian Atkins along with a host of other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023 with a celebration of life 2 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Keith Buckner, Rev. Stewart Skeens officiating with music by Kelly Riggins, Hayley Bridges and Whittney George. Interment to follow at Sharp Cemetery on Highway 370, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Gregory Michael Atkins, Jhon Jarnigan, Hunter Atkins, Kyle Kilgore, Brian Atkins, Michael Glenn. Honorary Pallbearers: John Ferguson, Sammy Lively.
