Emilia Clifton
Emilia June Clifton graced this world with her radiant presence on July 28, 2024 at 4:54 p.m. With absolute devastation, we announce the passing of our precious Millie, our Ruby Red Girl, our Junebug, whose light burned out on October 16, 2024 after a priceless 11 weeks on earth with her parents, Koby and Alison Clifton; grandparents, Mike and April Clifton and Ian and Darlene Ickes; aunts and uncles, Evan and Rachel Ickes, Kaleb and MaKenna Clifton, Grayce Shockley and Dustin Jackson; cousins, River, Milo and Reed; and great grandparents, Michael Ickes, Dorothy Love, Bob Keck, Don Wilson, Leonard Clifton and Ann and Fred Flenniken; as well as a host of precious extended family and friends that also deeply felt the weight of her passing. She was embraced by the loving arms of Jesus and those in Heaven waiting for her, including her great grandmothers, Mamaw June, Mamaw Elizabeth and Nannie Bell; great grandfathers, Papaw Horsley and Papaw Norman; and great aunts, Loretta and Melanie. We find great comfort in the midst of great agony trusting them to love and care for her until we see her again. Her impact cannot be overstated. Her beauty knew no bounds. She brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with her mischievous smile, her curious heart, and boundless wonder for everything she saw, heard and touched during her brief and beautiful time on earth. Her loss is cataclysmic, as is our pain, but we feel immensely grateful for the gift of Millie and her time in our lives.
The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Bethel Baptist Church. The service to follow with Reverend Tim Inklebarger officiating. Trinity Funeral Home, Maynardville, has the honor of serving the family of Emilia Clifton. 865-992-5002 www.trinityfuneralhome.net
