Ella Mae (Maples) Franks-age 92 of Sharps Chapel passed away Friday morning, February 4, 2022 at Creekview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Knoxville. She was a member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Billy Franks.

Survivors: son, William (Billy) Franks and wife, Renee; granddaughters, Peyton Franks and Noelle Franks. Several nieces, nephews along with other family members and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating. Interment 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
