Eddie Joseph Kitts “Moose”-age 63 of Maynardville, January 20, 1959- January 1, 2023 peacefully passed away at U. T. Medical Center after being ill for some time. He was of the Baptist faith and believed in the Lord. He is preceded in death by parents, Estel and Juanita Kitts; sister, Janice Wyrick; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Hensley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Laura Kitts; children and families, Ember (Justin) Long; loving grandchildren, Michael and Destinee; Jesse (Amber) Kitts and unborn grandson. His special son, Brian Holt, special friend, Candy Haynes and grandson, Jaxson Haynes.
Brothers and sisters: Joe Kitts, Doyle (Janice) Kitts, Glen (Patsy) Kitts, Johnny (Luealma) Kitts, Dennis (Tammy) Kitts, Linda Frye, Kim Patton, Tammy (George) Caldwell, Jeanie Clapp. Brothers-in-law, Gary Wyrick, Matthew Buckner, Vaughn (Carol) Buckner. He had a host of nieces and nephews that loved him and will miss him dearly. Especially his good friends Ike and Anita Phillips. Special thank you to Dr. Derrick Roland and nurses Tamika and Jenna.

The family will receive friends 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with music by Linda Nicley. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
