Earl Phillips-age 86 of Corryton passed away Wednesday morning at Beech Tree Manor Healthcare in Jellico. He was a member of Atkins Baptist Church and a retired employee of Wal-Mart, the East Town location. Preceded in death by wife, Nancy Phillips; parents, Rufus Henry Phillips and Stella Richardson Phillips Jones. Brothers, Luke, Herb, Hubert and Roy Phillips; sister, Billie Walton.

He is survived by his nephew, Billy R. Phillips and wife, Shay; nieces, Janice Roop and husband, Rick; Billie Rhines. Several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Beech Tree Manor and Amedisys Hospice, especially nurse Megan for their loving care of Earl during his illness.

Graveside service 11 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, at Skaggs Cemetery, Main Street, Maynardville, Rev. A. C. Cooper officiating. Family and friends may meet at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Friday to go in the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
