Doyle Wayne Hensley – age 79 of Luttrell, passed away Saturday evening, November 25, 2023, surrounded by his family at home. He was a life-long farmer and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Bonita (Boles) Hensley; sister, Shelby Beeler and her husband, Hughie.
Survived by brother, James Hensley and wife, Cathy of Maynardville; sisters, Kathy Hensley of Luttrell and Tracy Merriman and husband, Joey of Luttrell; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dallas Monday, Mack Smith, Donna Smith, Clara Tolliver, Louella Waskon and Mary Keys.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Eddie Muncey. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville at 10:15 am to go in procession to Skaggs Cemetery for a 11:00 am interment. Pallbearers will be the nephews and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
