Douglas Joe “Doug” Kitts-age 51 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 2, 2021 at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. He was saved at an early age and was a member of Hubbs Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1988.

Preceded in death by mother, Patricia Dykes Kitts; grandparents, Gray and Edith (Raley) Kitts; Robert and Lerttie (Longmire) Dykes; special uncle, John D. Dykes.

Survivors: Wife, Sandy Kitts; father, “Joe” Joseph Harley Kitts; sisters, Debbie and Tim Brooks; Misty Kitts; special nephew, Timmy Brooks; father and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Nina Heath; brothers-in-law, Kevin Heath; Jason Heath and partner, Heather; sister-in-law, Susan Arnold and husband, Devin; a host of other relatives and friends. His beloved fur babies, Bubbie and Molly.

A gathering of friends and family will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 with a brief service to follow at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Cody Dykes officiating.
