Dorothy May (Woolard) Davis-age 92 of Washburn passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Willow Ridge Center, Maynardville. She attended Pennington Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Davis; parents, Atticus and Rachel Woolard; grandsons, Derick Davis, Jay Carroll; seven brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Carroll, Linda Lawson, Kay and Wendell Padgett, Larry and Debbie Davis, Steve Davis, Lee and Archie Browning; 12 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 28 great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Vandergriff. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating, with music by Rev. Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment 11 AM Saturday, February 8, 2025, Haynes Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Grandsons. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
