Donnie “Ray” Williams Sr, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and avid outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. He was 71 years old. A man of profound character and integrity, Ray’s greatest passions were his family and his time spent in the great outdoors. He was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman. His stories of his adventures were legendary among friends and family, always told with a twinkle in his eye and a heart full of pride. Ray’s legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to live on in the stories shared, the memories cherished, and the hearts of his family and friends. He was greeted into Eternity by his parents David and Martha Williams, his sister Tammy Williams, and his grandson Robie McClure ll. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Oaks) Williams; his two sons Raymond Williams and Donnie Williams Jr., his two stepchildren Crickett McClure and Duane (Tracy) Brown; and many grandchildren, who were the light of his life. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Darin Jensen and Jerome Frandle officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Trinity to proceed to Pleasant View Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Rest in peace, Papaw Ray.
