David McCarroll – 63 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord after a short battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him especially his grandbabies, whom he loved more than anything.

He is survived by fiancée, Vickie Ryder; sons, Greg (Sara) McCarroll, Darrell (Melissa) Rutherford, Rodney (Christy) Ryder; daughter, Missy (Earl) Hayes; brothers, Paul and Mike McCarroll, Jerry (Cindy) McElroy; sister, Pat (Eddie) Ford; grandchildren, Jamison and Greyson McCarroll, Darren and Addilyn Rutherford, Preston, Christian and Brooklyn Ryder, Brittney (Zack) Reagan, Chelsea Prince and Katelyn Harrell; and great grandchildren; Ava and Walker Reagan.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024. The service to follow with Reverend Ronnie Scarbro officiating and music by Eddie Oxendine.
