David Clements-age 65 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at his home. David was born, raised, and lived most of his adult life in Rhode Island. He attended East Greenwich schools. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Brown and Sharpe manufacturing, as well as local nurseries, garden centers, and horse farms. He enjoyed movies, sports, music, and playing the guitar. He had a love for animals and had many cats and dogs throughout his life.

The last 6 years of his life were spent in the beautiful area of Maynardville Tennessee. He spent his time in Tennessee surrounded by close friends whom he considered family.

He is survived by his two sisters, three children, and many nieces and nephews. He also had one predeceased brother.

Military Graveside Service 10 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 with service by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard. Please meet at the cemetery by 9:45 a.m. Thursday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
