David Burkhart – age 66 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord with a smile on his face Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. He was an employee of Service Master for over 20 years. He recently retired and was looking forward to Old Man Fishing and spending time with his new grandbaby, Dallas.
Preceded in death by his father, Richard Burkhart; mother, Sylvia Burkhart; brother, Richard Burkhart.
Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Vickie L. Burkhart of Maynardville; son, Dusty Burkhart and wife Sarah of Corryton; grandson, Dallas Ray Burkhart of Corryton; sister, Rhonda Burkhart of Halls; niece, Angela Wilkerson; several other nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
