David Alin Grimes – age 69 of Maynardville born August 26, 1955 left this world on Friday, December 13, 2024 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Grimes and Sally Grimes/Berry; brother, Franklin (Dee) Grimes; sisters, Shirley Noland, Helen Jorden, Lucille Russell; daughter, Lori Bautista; granddaughter, Chelsey Minton.

He is leaving behind his wife, PK Grimes; brothers, Randy Grimes, Joey Grimes; daughter, Cindy Warren; son, Brian Grimes; grandchildren, Brianna Minton, Jonathan Hurst, Bianca and Beyoncey Bautista, Loutalyn Minton, Cecy and Mathew Smith; four step-children, Jay, Tiffany, Chelsea and Joshua Renfroe; as well as great-grandchildren and many family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM, officiated by Rev. Monte Walker. Interment service will be 2 PM Monday, December 16, 2024 at Haun Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers will be, Mathew Smith, Lemmie Warren, Joshua Renfroe, Jack Renfroe, Dee Grimes, James Bull. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Randy Grimes, Joey Grimes. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1 PM on Monday to go with the funeral procession.
