Clifford Darrell Bailey-age 66 of Maynardville born August 30, 1956, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 20, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. Darrell had accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and said he had a BETTER PLACE TO GO! Preceded in death by parents, Cliffton and Lucille (Nicely) Bailey; sister, Donna Jean Brown; brothers, Eddie Bailey, David Bailey; brothers-in-law, Glen Brown, Troy Crawford, Jim Stoffle.

He is survived by daughter, Brittany (Keith) Stiner; sisters, Linda Stoffle, Anna Bea Crawford, Patsy (Kent) Roberts, Melissa (Jake) Sweet and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2023, with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Eddie Muncey officiating with music by Brittany Muncey. Interment 1 p.m. Thursday, Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Thursday to go in procession. Pallbearers: Roy Crawford, Cliff Crawford, Daniel Crawford, Scott Boggs, Dakota Smith, Gary Farley. Honorary pallbearers: Christy Boggs, Keith Stiner, Jessica Farley. The family will be at his sister Pat’s house. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for expenses.
