Linda Smith Chesher, Age 64 of Maynardville was born on January 7, 1953 and passed away after a brief illness at U.T. hospital on September 13, 2017. Linda was a member of Alder Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed life and especially time with her grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Elizabeth Smith; sister, Connie Smith and brother, Junior Smith. She is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda and son-in-law Donny Lock. Precious grandchildren, Benji and Madison Lock; sisters, Shirley Smith Munsey and Judy Smith; brothers, Charles (Beth) Smith and Paul (Juanita) Smith; special friends, Janice Greene, April Withrow, Brenda Blakely, Lisa Grissom and JoAnn Morris; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service to immediately follow with Reverend Jimmy Davidson officiating. Family and friends will meet Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home to go in procession to Lett Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. interment. Pallbearers will be, Junior Loy, Ron Taylor, Mike Duncan, John Murmann, Jason Malone and Jason Smith.
