Charles Jimmy Sexton – age 84 of Maynardville, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. He was born on July 25, 1938 and attended Salem Primitive Church. Jimmy was a member of the Smoky Mountain Model-A Club and was well known by the Pinto on the Pole in Maynardville. He graduated from Horace Maynard High, where he met his high school sweetheart and wife of 64 years.

He is preceded in death by father, Charles E. “Cuz” Sexton and mother, June Hill Sexton; and brothers, Bobby Sexton and Larry Sexton. Jimmy leaves to treasure his memories, wife, Judy Sexton; sons, Jimmy Franklin and wife, Angie; Mike Sexton; and Stacey Sexton and wife, Candace; grandchildren, Jessica Parten, Sarah Goodman, and Emily Sexton; great grandchild, Emberlynn Goodman; brothers, Donnie Sexton and Sonny Sexton; sisters, Holly Simmons and Connie Williams.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service will follow with Elder John Robbins officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
