Charlene Pelfrey passed away at her home on August 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born June 11, 1957, she lived a life filled with love, creativity and kindness. She was the devoted wife of Darrell Pelfrey for 40 wonderful years. Charlene's infectious spirit touched everyone she met. She had a passion for painting and Jesus. Charlene dedicated her life to caring for others, always putting their needs before hers. Many will dearly miss and lovingly remember Charlene.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Trula Hutchison; son, Kyle Burgan; and brothers, Lonnie Hutchison and Chester Hutchison. Charlene is survived by her children, Teresa Sheppard, Jenna Haynes and Josh (Adrienne) Pelfrey; brothers, Freddy Hutchison, Allen Hutchison and Ricky (Donna) Hutchison. Her legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The celebration of life will follow with Reverend Paul Carter officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Trinity to proceed to New Loyston Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service.
