Carolyn (Whitson) Savage-age 76 of Maynardville passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was a member of Luttrell Baptist Church since 1988 and a retired employee of Union County School Systems. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Elsie Whitson; siblings, Shirley Monroe, Don Whitson, Danny Whitson; infant son, Robert Gregory and son-in-law, Charles Oliver.

Survivors: Husband of 54 years, Earl Savage; children, Sammy Savage, Earlene (John) Leonard. Grandchildren, Kayla (Marcus) Atkins, Kaine (Samantha) Savage, Kendra (Taylor) Nicely, Katelyn (Glenn) Asher, Kaleb (Caitlyn) Savage, Andy (Kailyn Griffey) Oliver. Great-grandchildren, Ella Kate and Ava Atkins, Laine and Lillie Savage, Trace Nicely, Jonathon (Kiersten) Asher, Nathan and Samantha Asher. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Charles Whitson, Rev. Matthew Leonard officiating with music by The County Line. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville with Rev. Marcus Atkins officiating. Pallbearers: Marcus Atkins, Kaine Savage, Kaleb Savage, Taylor Nicely, Glenn Asher, Andy Oliver. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
