Blanche Munsey-age 86 of Washburn passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Claiborne Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Dutch Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Carson Munsey; children, John Munsey, Lou Alama Graves; parents, Harvey and Leona McMurray; brothers, Austin, Robert, and Cecil McMurray; sister, Madge Workman.

She is survived by her son, James (Jimmy) Munsey and wife Kay; grandchildren, Lynn (Amanda) Graves, Jason (Nicole) Munsey, Crystal (Matthew) Duck, Torrey (Rachel) Munsey, Kaylyn, Brittany, Chelsea, and Summer Munsey; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024, with the funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Darrell Williams, Rev. Travis Proffitt officiating with music by The Williams Family. Interment 10 A.M. Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Lynn Graves, Jason Munsey, Zack Graves, Hunter Munsey, Logan Graves, Riley Munsey. Honorary pallbearers, Torrey Munsey, Carson Munsey. The family would like to express a special thank you to Claiborne Health and Rehab and also, Suncrest Hospice. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
