Betty Jane Deck – age 75 of Luttrell, passed away March 19, 2024 at Tennova North Medical Center. She lived in Kokomo, Indiana till her retirement from G. M. after 30 ½ years and then moved to Luttrell. Betty was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by parents, George Burdette and Mary Alford; daughter, Nikki Hollander; siblings, Frankie Burdette, Marietta Long and Mike Swope. Betty is survived by husband of 53 years, Jerry Deck; children, Missy (C. D.) Hill, Angela (Lynn) Newman, Twila (Mark) Doenges and Billy (Sonja) Phillips; ex son-in-law, Eddie Strange; grandchildren, Jessica (Daniel) Cooke, Brittany Ramsey, Anthony (Becca) Strange, Nathan Strange, Jacob (Brooke) Carr, Zach Hollander, Ashley (Erikson) Arriola, Bonnie Kinney, Bobby Newman, Amber (Jason) Ereth; Nathaniel Phillips and Chris Farrar; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and siblings, Jennifer (Mike) England, Ronnie Swope, Donnie Swope and Jimmy (Lisa) Gilsinger.
