Betty Darlene (Johnson) Lynch-age 83 of Maynardville, born January 26, 1941 went home to be with our Lord Friday December 20, 2024 at her residence. She was a retired bail bondsman with City Bonding in Union County. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Mildred (Graves) Johnson; husband, Roger Lynch; daughter-in-law, Marlene Lynch.

Survivors: sons, William Ted Lynch and James Lynch, both of Maynardville, Six grandchildren, Roger, Rylie, Shawna, Jamie, Autumn and April Lynch; Two great-grandchildren, Lakin and Paisley Ramsey. Sister, Carolyn Lawson and husband, Tim. Several other family members along with a host of friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her caregivers, Julie Cox, Amy Thompson, Travis King, Vivian Wolfenbarger, Melissa England and nurse practitioner, Matthew Beason for their kind care of Darlene during her illness.

The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024 with the funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating with music by Dr. Jared Graves. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
