Amos Houston Corum, Jr.
Amos Houston Corum, Jr.-age 62 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Friday morning, April 7, 2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church. Amos was an employee of Holston Gases, Knoxville for 20 years. Preceded in death by parents, Amos Houston, Sr. and Christine Corum; brother, Anthony Corum; sister, Shirley Crisp.
Survivors: wife of 46 years, Vickey Corum; daughter, Amy Corum; son, Amos Houston Corum, III and wife, Monica; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Corum and wife, Hope; Matthew Corum; three great-grandchildren, Chayce Corum, Chance Corum and Lance Corum. Three brothers, Vernon Corum and wife, Ina; Bob Corum and wife, Toma; Rick Corum and wife, Loretta; sister, Esta Quillen and husband, John. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. John Quillen, Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating with music by Amos Houston Corum, III and Vernon Corum. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10 a.m. Tuesday to go with the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
