Alice Emmett Roark-age 71 of Sharps Chapel passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Ben and Bessie Gibson; two husbands, Bill K. Emmett, Lane A. Roark and four stillborn children. Brothers: Paul Gibson, Eddie Gibson, Benny Gibson, Tommy Gibson, Doug Gibson and Kenneth Gibson.

Survivors: Daughters, Stochia Brantley and husband, Rick; Mary Crawford. Ten grandchildren, Kayla Wenger and husband, Jacob; Hayley Brantley, Madison (Rachel) Brantley; Joshua Brantley, Ethan Crawford, Emmory Crawford, Katelyn Brantley, Jamie Shoffner, Cody Wright and Courtney Wright, one great-grandson, Hudson Crawford due in December, 2024. Brother, David Gibson and wife, Tammy; sisters, Jean Osburn, Judy Brooksher. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
