William Dale Vann-age 42 of Maynardville, originally from Kodak went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was a gifted tattoo artist with a witty personality and had an unforgettable smile that left an impression on everyone. William adored his grandchildren and loved his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Debra Vann; brother, Troy Vann.

He is survived by his children, Alyssa Vann, Joshua Vann, Olivia Pate, Zackery Vann; siblings, Victoria Hester, Tony Vann, Amy Leeper, Monica Whitley; grandchildren, Greyson Jones, Camden Jones, Sierra Vann and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends 12-2 PM Sunday, September 8, 2024, at French Broad Valley Baptist Church, Kodak, with funeral service to follow at 2 PM Sunday, Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating, interment to follow at Beech Springs Cemetery, Kodak. Pallbearers: Joshua Vann, Jacob Jones, Andrew Leeper, Trevor Whitley, Brian Whitley, Scott Hester. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made at the funeral home for funeral expenses. Arrangement by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
