Baked tuna and noodles

This simple casserole serves eight easily. There are two other options to try.

1 cup sliced celery
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups milk
Three 6 1/2 ounce cans tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs

Cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Blend in soup and milk. Add remaining ingredients, except the buttered bread crumbs. Pour into 3 quart casserole. Sprinkle top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 375 F. for 45 minutes or until top is bubbly and browned. Serves 8.
Note: 3 cups cooked chicken or cooked ground beef may be substituted for the tuna.
